BEST HOSTESS/HOST GIFTS FOR CHRISTMAS

The holiday season is upon us, and this is the perfect time to get together with family and friends and start celebrating.  We get invited to several Christmas parties every year, and I’m always scrambling to think of a unique thank-you gift for the person who hosts the festivities.  So, this year, I thought I would create a post with a list of fabulous ideas for hostess gifts for Christmas and share it with you.

Christmas Gifts Sure To Put A Smile On Your Host or Hostess’s Face.

  1.  Festive Candles:  You can never have enough candles, whether they are real or flameless.  They always make a great gift, and during the holiday season, scented candles are the perfect gift.   Choose from the scents of Christmas like cinnamon, vanilla, and pine.  If you’re unsure if the host will enjoy a scented candle, holiday-themed flameless candles are a good option.

2. Cozy Throw Blankets: A warm and stylish Christmas throw blanket is an ideal gift for the wintertime. Pick one in Christmas colors, patterns, or personalized, and the special blanket will remind the host/hostess of you when they decorate for the holidays every year.

3. Gourmet Goodies: A basket or pretty boxes filled with goodies is a classic hostess gift. You can order premade gifts or create your own. Get an assortment of chocolates, cheeses, meats, wine, fruits and nuts. Even the pickiest eater will find something here they like.

4. A Personalized Cutting Board: You can’t go wrong with a personalized gift. It shows thoughtfulness and effort were put into selecting the perfect gift. Give your host/hostess a custom engraved cutting board with a special message on it or their name. It’s a unique and practical gift they will use for years to come.

5. A Unique Ornament:  Choose an ornament that characterizes the host/hostess.  Maybe they play a musical instrument.  Find that instrument ornament.  Do they play sports?  This golf cart ornament is perfect for a golfer.  Are they big travellers?  The suitcase ornament is cute.  Something even more special would be a personalized ornament with their picture inside.

6. A Spa Gift Set: Hosting a party is hard work. I’m sure they would love a gift set of spa items to pamper themselves after the party. Include scented oils, bath bombs, luxurious bubble baths and lotions in a nice container that they can proudly display in their bathroom.

8. Festive Wine Or Cocktail Accessories: They can use this at all of their gatherings. You could purchase new wine glasses, a set of beautiful wine corks, a cocktail shaker set with drink recipes, or a wine opener. Include their favorite beverage or mixers with the gift.

9. A Seasonal Serving Platter Or Tray: A stylish serving platter or tray is a sensible gift and is always needed. It can be used to serve food or just be displayed as a decorative accessory for a dining table.
