INEXPENSIVE CHRISTMAS DECOR
I couldn’t help myself. I started shopping early for Amazon Prime Days and found all of these inexpensive Christmas decorations. I created a Christmas Mood Board so I can share it with you. Happy shopping!
1. LIGHTS: Nothing says Christmas more than bright twinkling lights. They are a classic symbol of the holiday season. Battery-operated string lights can be used year-round to add sparkle to any particular day. String lights are flexible, so they can be added to seasonal wreaths, flower arrangements, or anywhere on your dinner table to create a magical atmosphere.
*Below is a 6-pack of 7 ft long Starry String Lights. The color is warm white. They are LED lights and can be used inside or outside. CR2032 batteries are included so you can enjoy glowing hours of bright festive lights.
*The second set is a 10-pack of battery-operated cork lights. Turn an empty glass bottle into a beautifully lit Christmas decoration that can be used all year. These inexpensive twinkling lights will add warmth and coziness to your home this holiday season.
2. ORNAMENTS: Ornaments are not just for the Christmas tree. Turn plain clear jars and bowls into beautiful Christmas decor by filling them with colorful ornaments of different sizes and shapes. Place the jars on your dining table for a homemade centerpiece. Attach ornaments to a wreath with ribbon and hang it on your front door. Or glue Christmas ornaments to some garland and drape them over the mantel. There are many ways to incorporate ornaments into your Christmas decor, and they also make great gifts.
*This set of 40 red and gold Christmas ornaments will surely add a look of luxury to your holiday decor.
*Maybe you would like to incorporate this 24 pack of multicolored Christmas balls into your decorations. They are ideal for hanging from the ceiling or archway of any door.
3. NATURE: Add some snow covered pinecones and holly berry sprigs to any decor displayed on a bookcase or shelf, and bring a little nature indoors. This will fill your home with the feeling of holiday charm. You can add pinecones and sprigs to wreaths, garlands, and potted plants to give them some color and holiday flair.
*The snow-covered pinecones are a set of 60 pieces. They come in 4 different sizes and shades.
*The silk holly berry sprig has large leaves that are easily adjusted.
4. CANDLES: Candles add warmth and coziness to anything. They are timeless decorations that can be added to your Christmas decor. Candles are significant in holiday traditions and decorations. They are symbols used to welcome people. Purchase different-sized pillar candles and arrange them on a mirrored tray for a touch of elegance. Add a little “glam” to every room by placing gold votive candles throughout your home.
*Birch trees are commonly seen in snowy areas in the north. That’s why I love these Flameless Birch Bark Wax Candles. They are battery-operated and come with a remote control.
*These gold votive candle holders will add a sparkle to every room. They can hold a regular votive candle or battery-operated tea light, whichever you prefer.
5. SNOWFLAKES AND STARS: Add to your winter wonderland by hanging snowflakes and stars in your entryway to spread joy to everyone as they arrive. Snowflakes represent the beauty of winter and something we all wish for during Christmastime. The stars are sure to brighten every room.
*These snowflakes and stars are made of paper and are 3D. Some of them even come with an electrical cord and will light up when plugged in.
6. GARLAND: Place prelit garland on your mantle and add some of your Christmas ornaments and candles to it, and now you have an original handcrafted mantle display for every year. Garland can be used on tables, staircase banisters, window sills and frames, and exterior columns in your house.
*This 9-foot by 12-inch pre-lit garland comes with 50 warm white lights and 340 branch tips and is battery-operated.
*If you want a decorated Christmas garland, the second one is 9-foot as well but has pinecones and berries added to it.
7. THROW PILLOWS: Add some festive Christmas themed throw pillows to your sofa and chairs for added coziness. Bring in the classic beauty of plaid with red and black plaid throw pillows on your guest bed for a warm farmhouse feel.
*This set of 2 Farmhouse Christmas Pillow Covers-Vintage Red Truck & Happy Holiday Home are 18x18 in size. They are made out of cotton-linen. These pillows come in different sizes so you can pick the size that works best for you.
*The plaid pillows are a classic and give off cozy and warm vibes. They come in 7 different sizes.
*I’ve also included some pillow inserts that I like. It’s best to buy a pillow insert a size smaller than the pillow cover to make sure the pillow covers look full.
8. TABLE RUNNER: Another way to bring in the farmhouse appeal is to have a plaid table runner in the center of your dinner table. Add the centerpiece you created with your new Christmas ornaments and candles.
*This cotton Buffalo plaid table runner also comes in red and black as well. You can choose from three different sizes so it should fit most tables. The plaid pattern is a timeless pattern and will add sophistication to any table.
9. ACCESSORIES: I absolutely love these classic Christmas accessories I found: a vintage red truck, gold Christmas trees, and glitter reindeer. The vintage red truck makes me feel nostalgic and reminds me of a family going out to get their Christmas tree. It makes me think of being in the mountains, and a cabin, and the roads are covered in snow. The gold Christmas trees and glitter reindeer are sure to sparkle to your festive Christmas decor.
*The vintage red Christmas truck is made out of metal and measures approximately 7x3x3.
*The champagne gold Christmas trees range from 6.5 inches to 9.5 inches tall.
*The glitter reindeer are 12.6” tall and come in a set of 2. All of these Christmas accessories would be perfect in a centerpiece, placed on a mantel or even sitting on your tree skirt.

CHRISTMAS TREE SKIRT: It’s been said that the Christmas tree skirt originated in Germany. They would place a piece of fabric under the tree to catch the fallen needles, making cleaning easier. It was purely functional and not decorative. Nowadays, we like to use tree skirts to complement the decorations on the tree. Here are a couple that I like.
*Gold and white faux fur tree skirt. I like the pattern of shiny gold holly berry branches. It’s 48” in diameter.
*This cable knit beige tree skirt would be like wrapping your tree in a warm and cozy blanket. It’s diameter is 48” and it has stockings to match.
*This 3rd tree skirt has a little bit of everything on it. It would be great for any style of decor. The plaid represents farmhouse style, the colors are traditional, and the sparkles would look great in modern decor.
*The last one is very classical to me. I love the red, white, and silver colors together.

2. WREATHS: The wreath circle symbolizes immortality, life, and renewal. Putting a Christmas wreath on your door invites the Christmas spirit into your home today. It welcomes everyone. Nowadays, not all wreaths are round. Here are some traditionally shaped ones and not-so-traditional ones.
*Pre-lit artificial spruce Christmas wreath decorated with berries, pinecones, and frosted branches.
*The second one is the traditional shape but nontraditional in the sense that the leaves are different than regular Christmas tree branches.
*Well, if you like gnomes, here you are!
*This one is a white teardrop swag. It’s decorated in a candy cane theme with ribbons, candy cane balls and sticks.
*This last one needs no explanation. Something for everyone.
3. CHRISTMAS STOCKINGS: There is a legend that a man named Nicholas became friends with a gentleman in his village who didn’t have much money. He secretly dropped a bag of gold down into the man’s chimney and it landed into a stocking hanging there to dry. Nicholas continued to do these selfless acts and that’s how the legend of Santa began. Today, most stockings are labeled with someone’s name or a design that represents that person and are made out of a variety of materials.
*This is a 6-pack of cable knit stockings with personalized name tags.
*These have the classic characters of Christmas on them- santa, snowman, and reindeer
*The next set is very festive with the different colored stockings.
*With this last set, you can pick your favorite symbol of the holiday season.
4. CHRISTMAS PAJAMAS: The idea of wearing Christmas pajamas started in the 1950’s when department stores started advertising Christmas PJs for the family. Here, I thought it was my Grandparents that started it. Oh well, our family continues to do this every year, no matter how old we are. Opening wrapped Christmas pajamas on Christmas Eve is something we all look forward to. Sometimes we match and sometimes we don’t.
*These are adorable. “Dear Santa, They’re the naughty ones.” There’s even something for the pet.
*These are sure to brighten up your night!
*Maybe you like onesies.
*There’s always the traditional ones as well.
